The SAP Partner Regatta in support of Redkite is like no other charity event offering like-minded executives, sailors and novices the opportunity to participate and compete in a yacht race around Sydney’s iconic harbour. Following the SAP Partnership Kick Off Meeting, the Regatta includes a social cocktail function with live music, an Awards Presentation for the winning teams and a Redkite Live Auction.
Since it launched in 2011, the SAP Regatta has been generously supported by MHYC members. With your support, this regatta has already raised a total of more than $1000,000 to support families across Australia. In our lasts years regatta we had 24 boats sailing competitively and raised over $80,000, enough to support 40 families for an entire year with essential and practical services, so they didn't have to face cancer alone. SAP partners are keen to go again, and together with our other Redkite events, the 2026 Regatta will take us well over the $1 million total in funds raised in support of Redkite.
Redkite provides essential support to children and young people with cancer, and their families, this has been Redkite's focus for over 30 years.They are there throughout the whole cancer journey, from the moment of diagnosis until after treatment finishes.
With your help we can raise essential funds to help families facing childhood cancer, all while enjoying fun competitive racing. The Renewable Energy Cup is a not for profit event. It is a chance for those involved in the sector and others that support it to have some fun and raise money for a worthy cause. We hope you will join us to make this event a great success. This year the Renewable Energy Cup is in support of the Australian Marine Conservation Society.
The Marine Conservation Society (AMCS) is the voice for Australia's oceans.
The AMCS is an independent charity, staffed by committed scientists, educators and passionate advocates. They work to stop the biggest threats to ocean health.
Healthy oceans are critical to life on Earth. They shape global weather patterns, produce more than 50% of our oxygen, provide food security and livelihood for millions, they are home to incredible biodiversity and they bring joy and comfort to many.
But now more than ever our oceans need us. Loss of habitat, pollution, industrial scale fishing, development, invasive species and the very real impacts of climate change are devastating marine habitats, species and communities across our blue planet.
As Australia's only national charity dedicated solely to protecting our ocean's wildlife, ACMS has defended Australia's oceans for over 50 years.
Together with their supporters, they have:
-
Protected critical ocean ecosystems with marine reserves around the nation, including Ningaloo and the Great Barrier Reef;
-
Led the movement to ban whaling;
-
Stopped supertrawlers;
-
Protected threatened and endangered species like the Australian Sea Lion;
-
Driven the bans on single use plastics around the country;
-
Provided the tools to help people make informed seafood choices.

About the ASX Refinitiv Charity Foundation
ASX Refinitiv Charity Foundation welcomes entries into the Annual Financial Markets & Media Charity Regatta to be hosted by the Middle Harbour Yacht Club. The purpose of the event is to raise over $100,000 for Australian Based Children’s and Medical Research charities. This will be added to the $1 million we are targeting to raise from our annual charity golf day.
Some charities we supported this year include The Pyjama Foundation, Sunnyfield, Neuroscience Research Australia, Making Waves Foundation and many more.
We are seeking the donation of as many yachts – with a skipper and one crew if possible. Each of these yachts will be ‘sold’ to corporate sponsors for the day to raise funds for the charities. The corporate sponsors will help crew and race the yachts.
We have already secured a good number of corporate sponsors who will need a yacht, so we need to start making arrangements now.
In the first instance please fill out the attached yacht donation form (within Notice of Race) and send to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. / Tel: 0408 870 161
The regatta web site is asxrefinitivcharity.com.au
If you are able to support us we would be wholeheartedly grateful!!
