The Sydney Harbour Sprint Series will get under way in October.
This is a new series for Sydney Harbour’s keelboat fleet designed to provide exciting short format racing with three races per day. With race management by Middle Harbour Yacht Club, entries are invited from all Sydney clubs.
The inaugural Spring Series has three race days scheduled - Saturday 14 October, Saturday 11 November and Saturday 2 December.
Series scores will decide the prizes in three divisions - Divisions 1 and 2 on ORC, IRC & PHS, and Division 3 on ORC & PHS. A one-design sub-series score can also be provided where four or more entries of the same class are received, which could appeal to the likes of the Farr 40, Adams 10, J/70 and J/24 classes.
The Sydney Harbour Sprints will return for a Winter Series in 2024 on Saturday 25 May, Saturday 22 June and Saturday 27 July.
