The BIG news at the AGM, was the nomination and bestowing of Life Membership on 40 yr member & former Commodore, Julie Hodder!

To say Julie was shocked and surprised was an understatement but the nomination was clearly supported by all those present, and Julie accepted her new badge with great pride.  Julie has been a member of MHYC for 40 years and as well as being Commodore from 2011-2012, also held the role of Vice Commodore Racing from 2010-2011 and Club Captain from 2012-2013.  Julie is also now Chairperson of the Frank Likely Trust and also has taken on the responsibility of maintaining the Club's many trophies, their storage and safe-keeping as well as keeping the Club's History pages and documents, year books, etc updated.  Many thanks to Life Members and Former Commodores Tig Thomas and Keith Tierney for Julie's well deserved nomination!
