MHYC E News 12th July, 2017

Welcome to MIDDLE HARBOUR YACHT CLUB's E-Newsletter

The Spit to the Zoo paddle event hosted by MHYC was held last Saturday 8th July, 2017, with a record number of paddlers entering the event.  With beautiful conditions on the water and land, the event was a great success.  For some images and all results - click here.

Membership renewals for the 2017/18 season have now been emailed to all members.  Those members who we do not have a current email address for, have been posted their renewal advice. Please advise the Club if your email address has changed so we can update our records.  Many thanks to all those who have already renewed - we hope the emailing of the advices has made payment options easier and faster!  Don't forget to renew by 31st July, to go in the draw to win a Hamilton Island Escape!

The Mosman Council car parking permits are now available for collection from the Club.  There have been a number of members who missed out on this first list so we have begun a waitlist for a 2nd list with a discount of 25%.  If you are wanting to purchase a Council permit for the Spit Foreshore, please contact the Club.  We need 30 members at least to take up this offer to receive the 25% discount.

Our Seniors Lunch is being held this Sunday with guest speaker, Peter Sorensen.  This is also the time that we congratulate those members who have reached a milestone with the Club to receive their 20 year, 30 year, 40 year, 50 year or 60 year badge.  Today, Mike McEvoy received his 50 year badge from Commodore Elect, Peter Lewis, being unable to attend the lunch on Sunday - congratulations Mike!
