Middle Harbour Yacht Club's exclusive sail training partner, Flying Fish, offer a variety of courses for beginners through to advanced racing and Yachtmaster training programmes.

Flying Fish is proud of its unique status as the only dual accredited sail training provider with both Royal Yachting Association (RYA) and Yachting Australia certifed courses. Beginners learn to sail on Catalina yachts and Magno dinghies, while experts perfect racing skills on X-Yachts and Beneteau 40.7's.

Our weekend courses include Start Yachting, Competent Crew, Day Skipper and Inshore Skipper. We also run spinnaker training, skiff sailing and powerboat courses. Our five day live-aboard options include Competent Crew and Day Skipper.

Want to race? We offer a race crew package at weekends for complete beginners. This includes training for Competent Crew, followed by a weekend of spinnaker and race training.  Each programme includes a one month trial membership of the Middle Harbour Yacht Club - the perfect introduction to racing.
