The Sydney Short Ocean Racing Championship (or SORC as it has been grown to be known by) has grown to be one of Australia’s largest grand prix yacht racing championships. Often referred to as the “Hobart Form Guide” the Sydney SORC is a “Champagne Start” to a month of yacht racing culminating with the Rolex Sydney Hobart Race and Pittwater Coffs Series.

The Championship will be conducted on the Manly and Macquarie Circles just off Sydney Heads and a Passage Course Area starting and finishing in Sydney Harbour.

6 & 7 March 2010

The Annual Audi Sydney Harbour Regatta is scheduled for 6 & 7 March 2010. One Design, IRC, PHS, Offshore Passage races are scheduled over 8 Course Areas.

Invitation to Classes and Associations to participate in 2010. Submissions shall be in writing to The Audi Sydney Harbour Regatta Committee, PO Box 106, Seaforth NSW 2092. Submissions close on July 31 2009.

The Australian Adams 10m Championships will be held on the Australia Day Long Weekend.

Middle Harbour Yacht Club will host the 2010 A10m Australian Championships on 23rd, 24th and 25th January 2010. If you're interested in chartering a an A10m for the Championship the A10m Association may be able to help you out with finding a boat.
