Entries for the 12th Sydney Harbour Regatta are now open! The Sydney Harbour Regatta also has a new refreshed website - take a look at www.shr.mhyc.com.au. With the addition of the Farr 40s and the Sydney 38s International Championship, Yngling and J70 national titles, and the return of the Etchells and Dragon keelboats, alongside the regular one design classes returning, the 2017 Sydney Harbour Regatta is looking to be bigger than ever.
MHYC will be open for Australia Day breakfast and lunch as well as on Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th January, 2017! Breakfast will be served from 8am to 11am and lunch from 12 noon. Why not bring the family and friends down to the Club before heading out on the water to watch the Australia Day festivities? Bookings essential on 9969 1244.

Yacht Sales Australia Wednesday Series 2 - Race 5 - 11th January, 2017
Race 5 of Series 2 for the 2016-17 season, will be held today Wednesday 11th January, 2017. Please be aware that the handicaps are count up starting from 1330 hours.

Thursday Twilight Series - Race 13, 12th January, 2017
The Thursday Twilight series continues with Race 13 on 12th January, 2017, with a count up handicap start from 6pm. Post racing presentation and the Bistro open for a meal - get the crew together, support the Club and celebrate after the race! To book a table at the Bistro, call 9969 1244 and book in your Boat name!

Race 5 of MHYC's Feature Event races is the January Cup & 2 Handed Cup will be held this Saturday 14th January, 2017. Youth Sailing - Term 1 now Open Online
The January holiday camps have been a great success with the first two weeks being booked out! There are still some places left in Tackers 2, 3 and Youth camps for next week - click here.

The Sandbar Cafe is open 7 days a week from 8am. Come down to the Club & enjoy our coffee and freshly made gourmet rolls. Refreshing smoothies, frappes and ice cream also available - especially perfect for these hot Summer days!
Harbourview Bar & Bistro - Open for Breakfast Australia Day & weekend
The Harbourview Bar & Bistro's menu is available online - click here for the current menu. Harbourview Bar & Bistro is open Wednesday to Sunday for lunch and Friday and Saturday for dinner, with daily specials. For all bookings, please call the MHYC office on 9969 1244.
Please note: the Harbourview Bistro will open for breakfast on Australia Day and Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th January, 2017, from 8am.
Australia Day at MHYC
The Sandbar cafe and Harbourview Bar & Bistro will be open on Australia Day, Thursday 26th January, 2017. Breakfast will be avilable from the Bistro from 8am through to 11am with lunch from 12 noon. Bookings are essential so call today to avoid disappointment on 9969 1244.

Sunday Sounds with Rebecca Henry - Sunday 29th January, 2017
Join us at the Sandbar on Sunday 29 January from 2-5pm for some cruisy tunes with singer/songwriter Rebecca Henry. Rebecca is a singer songwriter whose style has flavours of rootsy pop, soul and alternative country. Come and relax by the beach with a cool drink whilst enjoying some live music.

MHYC's annual Barefoot Ball 2017 will be held on Saturday 18th February, 2017, from 7pm with live music from iconic Australian band, Mental As Anything. Ticket options are downstairs at $45 Members/$55 Non members on the beach or upstairs in the Bistro & balcony area for $70 Members/$80 non members. Food & beverage options will be available for purchase. An arrival drink is included in the ticket price. Dress is "Beach Chic" - smart/elegant beach wear.
