Adams 10m Australian Championship

Middle Harbour Yacht Club will host the 2010 A10m Australian Championships on 23rd, 24th and 25th January 2010. If you're interested in chartering a an A10m for the Championship the A10m Association may be able to help you out with finding a boat. Please email adams10m@yahoo.com.au with your query. SCHEDULE OF RACES
Seven (7) races are scheduled, a maximum of Four(4) races may be sailed on each
day of racing. No Warning Signal will be made after 1600hrs on the last day of racing.

Courses shall be Windward / Leeward, as described in the Sailing Instructions.
A Scratch and PHS Series shall be run.

Notices & Amendments - are displayed on the Offical Notice Board at MHYC

  • Amendment # 1, 23/01/10 - Competitors in the Adams 10m Australian Championship are advised that SI 11.0 has been changed. SI 11.0 shall be deleted and replaced with the following,
  1. MARKS
    11.1 Marks 2A and 2B will be Yellow Inflatable Marks, Mark 1A will be a Yellow Inflatable Mark. The start/finish mark will be an Orange Inflatable Mark.
  2. 11.2 In event of a change of course signalled at Marks 2A/2B, then the new Mark    1A will be a Yellow Inflatable Mark with a Pink mid girth band.
  3. 11.3 In a subsequent change of course signalled at Marks 2A/2B then the new Mark 1A will be a Yellow Inflatable Mark.
  • Amendment # 2, 23/01/10 - Competitors in the Adams 10m Australian Championship are advised that Appendix A has been changed. Delete:  Mark 1B has been deleted
  • Amendment # 3, 24/01/10 - Competitors in the Adams 10m Australian Championship are advised that racing on 25th January will be preceded by a ‘First Warning Signal’ at 1030hrs.
  • Amendment # 4, 25/01/10  - Competitors in the Adams 10m Australian Championship are advised that Sailing Instruction 7.3 is amended to the following: New 7.3
    No Warning Signal will be made after 1800 hours on the last day of racing.

BERTHING AND ACCOMMODATION
Limited Berthing is available at MHYC. Yachts may apply to the Marina Manager by
Tuesday 19 January, on a first come first serve basis. marina.manager@mhyc.com.au
